Peer Review Process
Cognitio Artificial Intelligence Journal (COFIJO) implements a double-blind peer review system to ensure the academic quality, originality, and scientific contribution of every manuscript submitted to the journal.
Review Stages
-
Initial Screening
-
All submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or Section Editor.
-
The editor assesses the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, compliance with author guidelines, and adherence to publication ethics.
-
Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be desk rejected without external review.
-
-
Plagiarism Check
-
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are checked using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate).
-
Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% will be returned to the author for revision or may be rejected.
-
-
Reviewer Assignment
-
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
-
The review process follows a double-blind policy, meaning both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
